Lauren Update. 11/30/09

1 Month, 3 Days Post-Transplant:

Please think good thoughts, pray, wish on a shooting star or all of the above for my baby sis, Lauren. Dr's have said she has a fungal infection in her new lungs ... not sure if this was from her old lungs and cross-infected her new lungs or if it was in the new lungs and they did not know. She is scheduled for a rigid bronch tomorrow. This will hopefully help clear out more of the infection and clean the new connection between her bronchial passages and the new lungs.
