W00t!

I received the most *fantastic* news yesterday afternoon. As I was checking my Facebook hard at work, I received a phone call. Our conversation went something like this:

Me: "Compliance, this is Brandi."

Them: "Brandi, this is Jolee W. with Compass Charities. I was calling about your donation request that we received. I just wanted to call and let you know that we are going to make a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on your behalf."

Me: "Really? Oh wow, thank you so much."

Them: "We are planning on donating $2500."

Me: Silence. Dead silence. After I picked myself up from the floor to which I'd fallen, I recovered nicely with, "For REAL?" "Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!"

After that we moved on to more mundane things, discussing what all I needed to provide her with in order to finalize the donation. But, yeah, my company *ROCKS*.

I am shocked, happy ecstatic beyond all belief, but most of all thankful. I know I've said it a thousand times if I've said it once, but BBVA Compass is one of the best companies to work for. After all, they've put up with ME for twelve years!
